A seasoned investment banker, Mr. Luchangco founded Investment & Capital Corporation of the Philippines in 1988. Leveraging many years of experience in general management, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, property development, operations and strategy, he leads the firm’s growth and maintains key client relationships.
Aside from being Chairman & CEO of the ICCP Group of companies, Mr. Luchangco sits on the boards of public companies like Ionics, Inc., Roxas & Company, Inc., Phinma Corporation and Phinma Energy Corporation. Before ICCP, he honed his skills as Vice Chairman and President of Republic Glass Corporation, Managing Director of SGV & Company and Executive Director of SGV Goh Pte. Ltd. in Singapore. His extensive and successful career has provided him with a broad network of strong business relationships across the Philippines and overseas.
Mr. Luchangco also sits as the Philippine Co-Chair of the Philippines-Singapore Business Council, Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee of the Philippine-British Business Council, and Chairman of the Committee on Trade and Investments of the Philippines-US Business Council.
He holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School and graduated Magna Cum Laude, BS Chemical Engineering from the De La Salle University. He placed 8th in the Chemical Engineering Board Licensure Examination in 1962.
Mr. Bagatsing brings with him more than 30 years of senior level experience in commercial, mortgage, investment and development banking in North America, South and East Asia. He spent over 12 years with the International Finance Corporation-World Bank Group, where he held various senior positions in several countries, such as Senior Country Officer-East Asia (Lao PDR), Country Head-Nepal, culminating as Principal Investment Officer for the Philippines. He was also a member of the World Bank Group country leadership teams for Nepal and the Philippines. Prior to that, he covered a wide range of investment banking operations with RCBC Capital Corporation for over 12 years. Earlier in his career, he worked in Commercial & Mortgage banking in the United States for 10 years. A Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Bagatsing has an MBA in Finance from the McLaren School of Business of the University of San Francisco and completed Continuing Education programs from Asian Institute of Management, Harvard Kennedy School & Columbia University SIPA. He graduated with a B.S. in Accounting and Auditing from San Beda College.
Mr. Manny Ocampo has over 30 years of experience in investment banking specializing in Equity Capital Market transactions, particularly, public and private equity offerings. With more than 20 public equity offering deals in his career (IPOs, SROs and FOOs), he has also led teams in Merger and Acquisition transactions.
Before rejoining ICCP (he had previous postings with the company from1988 to 1995),
Mr. Ocampo was former Director for Corporate Finance at Abacus Capital & Investment Corporation, Citytrust Banking Corporation and Unionbank of the Philippines.
Now, Mr. Ocampo heads the Investment & Capital Corporation of the Philippines’ equity capital markets practice.
He holds an MBA from University of the Philippines and an AB Economics and BS in Business Management degrees from the De La Salle University.
Mr. Mike Banayad has over 30 years experience in Banking and Investment Banking specializing in Credit, Project Finance and Loans Syndication.He has led teams innumerous fund raising exercises involving major private/public bond underwriting, corporate notes, project financing and including infrastructure related multilateral loans.
Prior to joining ICCP, he was formerly the Managing Director and Head of Debt Capital Markets at Maybank ATR Kim Eng Capital Partners Inc. and before this, he was President & CEO of PNB Capital & Investment Corporation.During his banking career, he had stints with other major financial institutions, e.g., Corporate Banking Head at Philippine National Bank and with the Development Bank of the Philippines(DBP) where he spent 15 years.At DBP, he was a Department Head at the Bank’s Merchant Banking Group and prior to leaving the Bank, he was the Trust Banking Group Head. He also was a Career Executive Service Officer while in government service.
Currently, Mr. Banayad heads ICCP’s Debt Capital Markets practice.
He is a graduate of De La Salle University with a BS Commerce degree Major in Management of Financial Institutions and is a Master’s in Business Economics candidate at the University of Asia and the Pacific.”
Ms. Rodriguez has over 10 years of experience in investment banking, particularly in corporate finance and Mergers & Acquisitions. Prior to joining ICCP, Ms. Rodriguez was a former M&A Manager for Euro Capital Land and a VP for Corporate Finance at Mabuhay Capital Corp. Earlier in her career, she worked for the Advisory groups of Ernst & Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers.Previously, Inez worked withsuccessful teams closing major transactions in Health Care, Hospitality and a cross border M&A in manufacturing.
Ms. Rodriguez has also been a part of a consulting teamproviding outsourced CFO work and Finance and Accounting policies and process improvement.
Ms. Rodriguez holds an MBA from De La Salle University and a B.S. Mechanical Engineering from De La Salle University – Manila. She is a licensed Mechanical Engineer and a licensed Real Estate Broker.
