A seasoned investment banker, Mr. Luchangco founded Investment & Capital Corporation of the Philippines in 1988. Leveraging many years of experience in general management, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, property development, operations and strategy, he leads the firm’s growth and maintains key client relationships.
Aside from being Chairman & CEO of the ICCP Group of companies, Mr. Luchangco sits on the boards of public companies like Ionics, Inc., Roxas & Company, Inc., Phinma Corporation and Phinma Energy Corporation. Before ICCP, he honed his skills as Vice Chairman and President of Republic Glass Corporation, Managing Director of SGV & Company and Executive Director of SGV Goh Pte. Ltd. in Singapore. His extensive and successful career has provided him with a broad network of strong business relationships across the Philippines and overseas.
Mr. Luchangco also sits as the Philippine Co-Chair of the Philippines-Singapore Business Council, Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee of the Philippine-British Business Council, and Chairman of the Committee on Trade and Investments of the Philippines-US Business Council.
He holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School and graduated Magna Cum Laude, BS Chemical Engineering from the De La Salle University. He placed 8th in the Chemical Engineering Board Licensure Examination in 1962.
Mr. Valtos is Chief Executive Officer of Investment & Capital Corporation of the Philippines and Group President – Financial Services for the ICCP Group. He oversees the investment banking, venture capital, and asset management business units of the ICCP Group. He has over 30 years of experience in growth company financings, asset sales, and complex deal structurings across multiple jurisdictions. Mr. Valtos has been a senior executive with the ICCP Group for over 22 years. He is a member of the firm’s Deal Committee and Board of Directors.
Mr. Valtos is a member of the Board of Directors of several companies, including ICCP SBI Venture Partners (a partnership with SBI Holdings of Japan), Fiducia Asset Management Pte. Ltd. (regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore), PhilWeb Corporation (Listed on the Philippine Stock Exchange); formerly on the Board of Directors of Rustans Supercenter Inc. (formerly majority owned by the Dairy Farm Group of Hong Kong now owned by Robinsons Retail, Inc.) and serves as Chairman of the Board of DirectWithHotels Ltd. (a co-investment with NTT Finance of Japan).
Prior to joining the ICCP Group, Mr. Valtos was Managing Director of Strategic Asset Management, Inc., a Chicago-based private equity firm managing over US$600 million in assets.
Mr. Valtos holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He earned a BA in Economics and Political Science from the University of Illinois, where he was a Rhodes Scholar Candidate. Mr. Valtos is an active member of the Philippines-Singapore Business Council, and a member of the Board of Directors of Investment House Association of the Philippines.
As Managing Director, Mr. Falcon is in charge mainly of the Debt Capital Markets services and transactions of ICCP. He takes the lead in advising companies looking to raise funds in the Philippine market. Mr. Falcon brings to the company 20 years of fixed income experience both in investment banking and institutional investments. He specializes in structuring corporate, project finance and leveraged lease transactions, with vast experience in collaborating with US, Asian, and other foreign debt issuers from various industries including the utility, manufacturing, consumer, transportation, technology, media & telecommunications, and retail sectors.
Prior to joining ICCP, Mr. Falcon was Vice President in the Debt Capital Markets group of Mizuho Securities USA in New York. He spent over 14 years with Conning Asset Management, Swiss Re Asset Management and TIAA-CREF investing in debt private placements before transitioning into investment banking.
Mr. Falcon holds an MBA from the Simon Business School at the University of Rochester and a BS in Business Administration from the University of the Philippines. He is also a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts.
Mr. Manny Ocampo has over 30 years of experience in investment banking specializing in Equity Capital Market transactions, particularly, public and private equity offerings. With more than 20 public equity offering deals in his career (IPOs, SROs and FOOs), he has also led teams in Merger and Acquisition transactions.
Before rejoining ICCP (he had previous postings with the company from1988 to 1995),
Mr. Ocampo was former Director for Corporate Finance at Abacus Capital & Investment Corporation, Citytrust Banking Corporation and Unionbank of the Philippines.
Now, Mr. Ocampo heads the Investment & Capital Corporation of the Philippines’ equity capital markets practice.
He holds an MBA from University of the Philippines and an AB Economics and BS in Business Management degrees from the De La Salle University.
Mr. Arellano has over 20 years of experience in financial services, more specifically in private equity transactions. His investment banking deal experience covers financial advisory, arrangements of debt as well as equity financing and mergers & acquisitions.
Prior to joining ICCP, Mr. Arellano was Vice President of Delphi Group, Inc. (Delphi), a venture capital and financial advisory firm, where he was responsible for the execution of its in-house and mandated deals. At Delphi, he also assisted clients in various cross-border investment and/or divestment transactions. In addition, he was responsible for raising both debt and equity funds for Delphi\\\'s local and offshore clients.
Mr. Arellano received a BA in Economics from the University of the Philippines School of Economics. He also attended the Strategic Business Economics Program of the University of Asia and the Pacific.
