Project Development
ICCP's project development activities give it a merchant banking
character not usually associated with Philippine investment houses. While it continues to assist
clients in identifying and implementing suitable investment projects, it places equal emphasis on
the development of viable projects in which it can directly invest along with other local and
foreign investors. In this regard, ICCP acts as a catalyst in bringing viable projects to fruition,
and is willing to take an equity position, usually on a minority basis, where it believes it can
contribute significantly to the success of the venture.
ICCP originated the formation of
Science Park of the Philippines, Inc. (SPPI),
one of the leading private industrial estate developers in the country today.
ICCP spearheaded the development of a 360-hectare township project in
Cagayan de Oro City in Northern Mindanao, called
"Pueblo de Oro Township".
This project integrates a world class, Robert Trent Jones, Jr.-designed championship golf course
with residential, business, commercial, recreational and institutional facilities.
ICCP promoted the development of the
World Trade Center Metro Manila (WTCMM), the Philippines'
first world class exhibition facility, as its further contribution to economic development and
nation-building.
