Privatization Consultancy
ICCP holds the distinction of having been the only Philippine
investment house to be accredited by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)
to render advice to the Philippine Government and its agencies relative to its privatization program.
ICCP's mandate included activities relating to valuation studies, divestment plan and strategy,
prospectus preparation, identification of potential investors, preparation of bidding guidelines and
forms, and assistance in the conduct of pre-bidding conferences and bidding, roadshows, evaluation
of offers, and negotiations. ICCP advised the Philippine Government in the very successful privatization of t Philippine Airlines for which it received a commendation from the incumbent Secretary of Finance.
ICCP continues to be active in privatization advisory work. Among
its most recent engagements in this field were those for the formulation and implementation of an
optimum divestment plan for Food Terminal, Inc. and the divestment strategy for Philippine Export
and Foreign Loan Guarantee Corporation relative to its loan exposure to Mar Fishing Company, Inc.
