I V I's Investment Committee
A process unique to IVI is that all of its policies and guidelines, as well as investment or divestment proposals are evaluated by an Investment Committee. In contrast with other private equity direct investment firms, IVI's investment or divestment decisions are made by its Board of Directors, based on the recommendations of the Investment Committee.
The members of the Investment Committee are well-seasoned and reputable businessmen-entrepreneurs in the fields of industry, finance, and commerce. They have substantial on-site industry operating experience and are instrumental in providing access to technical expertise, market intelligence, and commercial opportunities.
The members of the Investment Committee are:
Guillermo D. Luchangco
Chairman and CEO, ICCP Group of Companies.

Prior to founding ICCP, Mr. Luchangco has extensive experience in management consulting services and in top executive positions in a number of large manufacturing companies. He was former Chairman of Republic Glass Corporation, the largest manufacturer of flat glass in the Philippines, and former Managing Director of the SGV Group, the leading Philippine auditing and consulting firm known worldwide. Mr. Luchangco holds the degrees of Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School and B.S. Chemical Engineering from De La Salle University (magna cum laude).
Alfredo R. de Borja
President, Makiling Ventures, Inc.

As real estate developer, and Director of various private and publicly listed companies. Mr. De Borja holds an MBA degree from Harvard Business School and a B.A. Economics from Ateneo de Manila University.
Lawrence C. Qua
Chairman, President and CEO, Ionics Circuits, Inc.

Mr. Qua has extensive contacts in the electronics industry, both local and international. Mr. Qua holds the degrees of MBA and B.S. Mechanical Engineering, both from De La Salle University
Atty. Leonardo T. Siguion-Reyna
Managing Partner, Siguion-Reyna, Montecillo & Ongsiako Law Office
A leading law firm in the Philippines.

Atty. Siguion-Reyna is concurrently Chairman of the following companies: ETSI Technologies, Inc (a Siemens AG affiliate); Doctors Pharmaceuticals, Inc.; Lux Marketing, Inc. (formerly Electrolux Mktng., Inc.); Phimco Industries, Inc. (formerly Phil. Match. Co., Ltd.); and Sandvik Phils., Inc. He is likewise a Director in a number of multinational and large domestic firms. Atty. Siguion-Reyna received his law degree at the University of the Philippines.
William M. Valtos, Jr.
Managing Director of IVI and Executive Vice President of ICCP.

Prior to joining the ICCP Group, Mr. Valtos was former Managing Director of Strategic Asset Management, Inc., a Chicago-based private direct investment firm managing over $600 million in assets. Mr. Valtos earned his MBA from Northwestern University (Kellogg), studied corporate law at Yale Law School, and received his BA degree with double major in Economics and Political Science at the University of Illinois.
